The idea of progress (Camille TES2)

The idea of progress, refers to a lot of things. First, we can see some type of progress. For example, technical, scientific or social. We can see the author's intentions, for example a positive or negative intention. First, the idea of progress could be set all around the world. In classroom, we have see a video, about Willim Kamkwamba. This man, live in Malawi, and this idea of progress correspond to an innovation because he built windmill in a poor country. Thinks to him, Malawi can generating electricity to use for example internet, or pump water. We can see here, a profitable advantages for everyone. This document is my favorite, because speak about a poor country. Secondly, we can speak about a potential danger for human, and the impact. In classroom, in the book we have see a picture who spoke about doping. It's an illegal drug and that is criticized. I think, athletes who are cheating, are not really athletes. With doping, sport have a lot of inequality, and it's bad for people who they watch for example the Olympics Games. In the picture, we can the athletes, they are sprinters, and under there foot we can see a seringe, and with this document, the idea of progress could be dangerous for people and this dangers are associated with technical progress. Finally, in classroom, we have see “The Sixth Day”. To resume this part of film, the main caracters is named Adam. He is in a shop called “Repet” and we wants to bring back to life his daughter's dog. The salesaman tries to explain the situation and to convince Adam to clonde his dog. I not agree with this idea. It's a genetic progress. We can see some disavantages, first it's dandereous, and before, pet are no soul, and it's not his really dog. But we can see advantages too. The salesman say too Adam, he's insured, and as safe as real pets. To conluse, we can, see some advantages or disadvantages. In there document, they are two notions of bad progress and one about a great progress. I agree with a lot of idea but i not agree about progress in general.
